Jahi Minkah Trotter is an actor, filmmaker, and writer with over a decade of experience creating bold, character-driven stories. He earned his MFA in Film & Television from SCAD and has appeared in TV series including Fatal Attraction and For My Man (TV One), as well as feature films such as A Nanny’s Revenge and Psycho Roommate on Amazon Prime.

As a filmmaker, Jahi has written, produced, and starred in three award-winning shorts that have screened at festivals across the U.S. and internationally. His work blends action, dark comedy, and emotional depth, often exploring resilience, morality, and personal transformation.

 

When he isn’t on set, Jahi teaches filmmaking, mentors aspiring artists, and develops original projects through his independent production company. Dedicated to telling powerful, authentic stories, he seeks to collaborate with creatives worldwide and inspire audiences to see the hero within themselves.
